Let’s find out together why Daioni Organic’s organic cows are always happy and provide high–quality organic milk for millions of families around the world!
The story of Daioni Organic’s organic cows…
At the Daioni Organic farms, our farmers care for more than 1,000 dairy cows and make sure they are always happy and healthy, so that they can provide delicious and nutritious organic milk for our customers.
As a family dairy brand with over 50 years of experience passed down from generation to generation, we have bred all of our own cows. Daioni Organic’s herd originates from Friesian, Holstein, Jersey and Ayrshire cattle from the United Kingdom.
Animal health is one of our farmers’ top priorities because we know that healthy cows produce higher–quality organic milk with higher protein and fat content.
Before Daioni Organic organic milk leaves the farm for distribution stores, it must go through the strictest quality control procedures. Our rigorous hygiene practices ensure very low daily bacterial counts, clear proof that our cows are healthy and free from infection, and that udders as well as milking equipment are kept clean throughout the milking process.

Daioni Organic’s organic cows live in freedom…
To meet the organic requirements of The Soil Association (the most authoritative organic certification body of the European Union), organic cows must be fed organic feed and must also truly be free–range outdoors.
Nature created cows to graze freely on fields, and we firmly believe that organic cows that are free–range on organic pastures will produce the best organic milk.
When it is too wet or too cold for the cows to go outside, the farmers bring them into dry, warm barns, where the cows have plenty of space and can comfortably eat hay, silage and grains – all of which are organic and completely produced on the farm itself.
Once spring returns, the cows are turned out to graze on fresh grass in organic fields, where the Omega-3 content is twice as high as on conventional grassland. On average, each cow has about 4,000 square metres (1 acre), ensuring that our cows are truly free–range.

The cows’ health is always the top priority…
The Soil Association has the highest animal–welfare standards of any farming system in the United Kingdom. By complying with the strict organic standards set by The Soil Association, farmers at Daioni Organic farms do not use any routine antibiotics or conventional wormers on their cows. By giving the cows plenty of space to range freely and behave according to their natural instincts, stress is minimised and the spread of disease is prevented. Free-range organic farming systems like Daioni Organic always encourage naturally healthy animals without the need for routine antibiotics. In turn, this means there are no antibiotic residues in Daioni Organic’s organic milk when it reaches you.
At our Ffosyficer farm, we use many natural and organic methods to maximise herd health. Apple cider vinegar is a natural antibiotic, and the farmers mix it into the feed to keep the cows’ immune systems in optimal condition. The cows are also given other supplements such as turmeric and dried seaweed to provide essential vitamins and minerals and to support digestion.

So you can be completely confident when choosing Daioni organic milk for yourself and your loved ones. A big plus of Daioni Organic milk is its thick, silky texture and nutrient–dense composition, far richer than conventional milk. Its rich, creamy flavour has won numerous taste awards worldwide: “True Taste Award”, “Great Taste Award”, and the “Excellence in Food and Drinks Award” for school children organised by ‘Caterer and Hotelkeeper’. The products are exclusively distributed by Solomon International through organic food and clean food retail systems nationwide.
