- Sweet corn: 2 ears
- Pure organic fresh milk: 100 ml
- Granulated white sugar, filtered water
- Sieve, clean cloth
- Step 1: Remove all the husks and silk from the corn and set them aside separately.
- Step 2: Rinse the corn husks and silk thoroughly, then put them into a pot of water together with the cleaned sweet corn and boil.
- Step 3: After boiling the corn until cooked, let it cool, then remove all the kernels and place them in a bowl.
- Step 4: Prepare a blender, add the cooked corn kernels and the prepared filtered water, then blend until the mixture is very smooth.
- Step 5: Line the sieve with a clean cloth (if you don’t have cloth, you can use the sieve alone, but it will be harder to strain out all the pulp). Pour the blended corn mixture into the lined sieve, strain to extract the liquid and discard the pulp.
- Step 6: After straining, you will have a fairly thick corn milk base. Add some of the corn boiling water you reserved earlier, then add sugar to taste. Pour everything into a clean saucepan and simmer gently over low heat.
Corn milk (also called sweet corn milk) is such a delicious drink that few people can refuse once they’ve tried it. What could be better than enjoying a cup of warm, nourishing corn milk on a slightly chilly early autumn day? Even better, you can make corn milk at home instead of buying it outside, which can be more expensive and not always guaranteed in quality. Let’s get into the kitchen and make it together!
Ingredients:
Method:
Note: While heating, you must stir constantly so the corn milk doesn’t become lumpy.
When the corn milk has simmered for a while, turn off the heat and add the organic fresh milk, stirring well. And that’s it – once the milk has cooled slightly, you can pour it into small cups for everyone to enjoy. If you prefer it cold, chill it in the refrigerator instead of adding ice, because ice will dilute the corn milk and make it less thick and creamy.
Desired result: The finished corn milk should have a pale yellow color and a medium consistency (not too thin and not too thick). When you drink it, it should have a gentle sweetness and a rich, fragrant corn aroma.

Thiamin and vitamin B1 in sweet corn help improve memory effectively. The amino acids lysine and selenium may contribute to cancer prevention. In addition, sweet corn contains many other beneficial nutrients such as vitamins A, B9, C, folic acid, manganese, zinc, copper, and more. However, the sugar content in sweet corn is relatively high, so it is not suitable for people with diabetes.
